Co-financing from the state budget Polfa Warszawa receives Bicycle Friendly Certificate
Polfa Warszawa has obtained a Bicycle Friendly Certificate, joining a group of companies promoting sustainable transport among employees.
The certificates were awarded by the Partnership for the Environment Foundation. The foundation has been active since 1991, and is the most experienced environmental organisation in Poland supporting local sustainable development initiatives.
The award of the certificate was preceded by a careful initial audit and certification audit. Numerous criteria and very precise requirements had to be met. The audits looked at such elements as the infrastructure available to cyclists and the number of bicycle parking spaces. The Bicycle Friendly Certificate is a sign of environmental quality confirming that a company is friendly towards those who cycle to work.
